Lee County Board of County Commissioners announced March as Literacy Month

The Literacy Council received recognition naming March as Literacy Month from the Lee County Board of County Commissioners at its March 13 meeting.  The board recognition was drafted by Commissioner Ray Judah and Chairman John Manning signed the document. We are thrilled that the Commissioners recognize that a community’s social, economic and civic vitality is connected to the literacy of its residents. Many thanks to the Lee County Board of County Commissioners for their support of literacy in our community!
