Maria first came to the Gulf Coast Literacy Council to learn English. She also brought her three young children to the Moms & Tots program. All three of her children have since excelled in school, participated in dual enrollment, taking college courses while still in high school, or been accepted to college. Maria now works at the Literacy Council as the Moms & Tots Program Assistance. Learn more about Maria’s impact in the video below!
