Two-day fundraising event at The Club at TwinEagles to raise dollars to support literacy and ESOL programs that strengthen families, workforce readiness, and the regional economy
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (April 1, 2026) — Literacy Council Gulf Coast (LCGC) is inviting the community to swing for a cause at its inaugural “Tee Up for Literacy” Golf Tournament, a signature two-day fundraising event set for May 8–9, 2026, at The Club at TwinEagles in Naples.
The event will raise critical funds to support LCGC’s free literacy and education programs for adults, children, and families, teeing off on Friday, May 8, with a charity gala cocktail hour, dinner, silent auction and raffle, followed by the tournament on Saturday, May 9.
In a region where hospitality, healthcare, construction, education and service industries rely on a skilled and confident workforce, LCGC’s work creates measurable value beyond the classroom. By helping adult learners strengthen communication, reading and comprehension skills, the organization supports local employers, helps families better navigate schools, healthcare systems and contributes to long-term economic mobility across the community.
The team registration fee is $800 and includes food and beverages for both days. Additional dinner tickets are also available for non-golfers.
For registration, sponsorship information, or to donate an item for the silent auction or raffle, contact Kristi Breece at kristi@literacygulfcoast.org or Leah Mason at leah@literacygulfcoast.org, or call (239) 676-5202. Registration forms and payments should be submitted by April 30, 2026.
