English literacy nonprofit raises funds to support free education programs
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (July 24, 2026) The Literacy Council Gulf Coast (LCGC) will host its inaugural golf tournament fundraiser, “Tee Up for Literacy” on Saturday, Oct 3 at Stoneybrook Golf Club in Estero, Florida.
Proceeds from the tournament will raise critical funds to directly support LCGC’s free literacy and education programs for adults, children and families in Southwest Florida.
“We’re excited to implement a fundraising initiative for our programs,” said Leah Mason, executive director of LCGC. “Our programs don’t just impact the lives of our students, but it has the power to create a thriving community.”
Registration is $210 per person and includes 18 holes of championship golf, golf cart fees, range balls and green fees, awards banquet, prizes and raffle items.
